‘Artificial Dissemination: Dissent on Paper,’ is an exhibition devoted to the art of the propaganda poster. Ranging from the political and social commentary to bizarre looks at reality television and celebrities. Come check it out July 9th from 6-10PM! Special guest curator, James Heimer.

Hobo Day Photos - 2011

I hope that some of the folks' drawings will pop up here soon. In the meantimes, we will have to enjoy the memories of these Iphone photos Sam Heimer took. Thanks to all the folks who came out. Mostly it was awesome mixing it up, drawing, and BBQing with a bunch of great people. Thanx, Chris Stevens and John and all the gracious folks at Locust Moon out in Wild West Philly. Unfortunately, we witnessed two very sad moments on the el train, but it didn't seem to sour the overall spirit of the day and the crew. It was a very unique and lively experience to say the least. We were kinda like a peaceful version of "The Warriors" (except nobody was wasting nobody).

PUBLIC SCHOOL - A LESSON IN COLLABORATION - Opening @ MASTHEAD STUDIOS -12/4/10

Masthead Print Studio will host a collaborative show featuring over 20 screen printers, graffiti artists, graphic designers and Illustrators that are paired up to bring us their new creations. The curators chose each pair with the main objective being “Unlikely Combination's”, much like when you were in school and told to work with a stranger.

Halloween Show at Proximity Gallery - October 1

The Philadelphia Cartoonist Society and the Autumn Society are teaming up for a show at Proximity Gallery on October 1, 2010.
