Trying really hard...

SO I'm taking my time and playing around with Photoshop. I have been looking at a bunch of digitally colored illustrations and artists who have mastered coloring on Photoshop. I think I'm kinda getting the hang of it. Going to make this into a complete illustration in the near future, but this is what I got for now...

  1. Lookin' good to me. If you prefer old school painting check out Corel Painter 11. It mimics real painting much, MUCH better than Photoshop and I'm finding it a lot more fun to color with too. Might help make the digital transition a skooch easier.

  2. Loving this one. I am glad you are restraining filters, etc., and all that stuff that most people overuse when Photoshopping and using other digital coloring programs. You have a nice, natural sense of color here, and I think the picture has a great, fitting, old-tymie sensibility given the subject matter. But it's still lively, bright, and interesting. Nice work, A-Bomb.
