First Post

this is my first post over here w you guys and been checking in now and again and seeing the fine work over here and humbly ask your opinions and thoughts on this and any future postings. I don't get offended easily so feel free to leave your honest opinions either good or bad.  I've been posting for a while with the "other society" and out of the near 300 followers over there the same four people comment every post, so I guess I'm looking for fresh outlooks on my work. p.s if you want to see more of what I'm about view my page (my link on here doesn't work) here
so feel free to snoop around and share any thoughts over there as well. thanks again -Anthony Pedro

Who likes to rock the party?

I like to rock the party! I was lucky enough to be asked to design a limited edition screenprint poster for the very awesome Flight of the Conchords. The prints will be sold at tomorrow night's show in Bergen, Norway and after that on their website. Here's the link for anyone interested...

That's the sign-post up ahead, your next stop...

This is piece for the upcoming Twilight Zone tribute show "Another Dimension" at Gallery 1988 in LA. I am a huge Twilight Zone fan so it was a real thrill to asked to be part of this show, I couldn't pick just one episode to base a piece off of so I came up with this...

There are about 28 different episodes featured in the piece, "To Serve Man" pops up twice in A and C, and D could be either from the episode "The Dummy" or "Caesar and Me" since it's the same puppet in both episodes.

The piece is a 10" x 20" limited edition to 37 giclee print on watercolor paper and will be available for purchase starting May 20th on Gallery 1988's website, here's the link:

Oh, and as a bonus to me the gallery used a piece of the art for the show postcard...

PCS Art Crawl Update

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know an update on the PCS Art Crawl happening this Friday. On May 7th the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society will be hosting three different art openings, that's right I said THREE ART EVENTS!

1. The “Domo Arrigato” robot art show is hanging at Brave New Worlds Comic Shop in Olde City.
2. “Deck Heads” is a skate board art show hosted annually by Exit Skate Shop in Northern Liberties.
3. “Dirt Balls in Love” is the solo show of the one and only Jeffro Kilpatrick on exhibit at Proximity Gallery in Fishtown.

This is sure to be a good time with some really great art, so come on out for laughs and refreshments along the way.
In our efforts to find new ways to promote our shows I have attached the flyer for the PCS Art Crawl as well as some photos of a Robot Sticker Campaign some of us took part in. Also, this past Saturday was Free Comic Book Day. Many of us were on hand at Brave New Worlds drawing robots for folks out to pick up some free comics. It was a lot of fun and we made some new friends including Zombie Hulk!

I have attached these pics for all those with a finger in the Blog-o-sphere to start posting in support of the shows.
Hope to see you all out this Friday!

From Patch and Concetta :)

"Dirtballs in Love" show written up on the Art Blog and in the Spirit Newspapers...

My friend (and fellow Philly artist) Concetta Barbera was very kind to me in the article she wrote in the Spirit last weekn about my upcoming art show, "Dirtballs in Love". Click HERE to read the article.

Also, I was honored to have Libby from the ART BLOG visit me at the drawing desk last week to talk to me about the show. Her interview and photos can be seen here.
